My kids all take a hands-on science class with a PhD Biologist, Karina Nikulina. She’s truly amazing with her science classes and I’m a former scientist.
So grateful to have a science teacher that can pull off amazing, hands-on classes over Zoom!
Just so you know, every Monday when I tell A. that it’s time to set up for class, she gets SO EXCITED and eagerly dashes around gathering supplies. Thanks for making science so fun for her! :)
Karina is the best!! I can't say enough great things about her class. My kids always look forward to the fun experiments and projects. And I am so happy that we can have in person classes again this year.

My 3 kids love Karina and her classes. The experiments she does with the kids are amazing.
I am a scientist myself and I can attest to the amazing curriculum Karina provides her students. My son learned so much, well beyond what was required, yet he had fun doing it! As a 7th grader last year, he had in person for nearly the entire year, small 3 child class, and all precautions were taken and no one got sick. She is well versed on covid protocols and follows to the letter. We plan to stay in touch with Karina she’s just an amazing person and educator.
My whole family loves Ms. Karina. My daughter participated in the Zoom offering of this class last year. The diversity in topics, range of experiments and topics learned - wow! My daughter was not the only one in our family who learned things each class. The conversations that took place after in our family was a lot of fun, and my husband who is a science researcher, was also impressed. I highly recommend this class. I also feel very comfortable with the COVID precautions Ms. Karina has in place for her students' health this school year.
Karina! These lucky kiddos! Having worked alongside Karina Nikulina as a co-op parent, room-mom, Girl Scout leader and as a mom and friend, I can assure you Karina is a one-of-a-kind gem! She truly loves science and being a teacher! She is kind, caring, genuine and trustworthy! I highly recommend any class taught by Karina! You will NOT be disappointed!
